The Bistro

I'd like to welcome you to "The Beautiful Maggie", a bistro that could not exist, had it not been for a well known website named "Around The Sims3". As my name is Maggie, I just had to download "The Beautiful Maggie"-sign when I saw it lol. Anyways, this local Bistro is situated in the older part of town, and is run by Astrid and Ralph. Astrid and Ralph have been married for many years now and are known across town as successful match-makers. A year or two ago they set up a blind date for a local author named Richard and a local nurse named Susan. Of course this date took place at their Bistro. We'll fast forward to a few years later. Now, Richard is going to propose to Susan in the Bistro where they first met. It is all going to take place on Valentines day.

Before we go the mushy stuff, lets take a closer look at the Bistro. In many ways, this Bistro is no different than others. The dominant colors used are browns and the applied materials are a mix between slightly outdated ornate wallpapers and wood. Lots of wood.

Outdoor seating.

Now, I would like to invite you in. Do you smell the coffee already? Lets have a seat at the bar. Astrid insisted on having stylish and modern furniture to offset the dark brown tones of the wood.

Twice a year, Ralph travels to France. During these travels, he visits wineries as he's always for the lookout for the perfect wine. Having all these connections, is really starting to pay off.

Last year, Astrid convinced Ralph to install screen doors in two areas of the Bistro. These areas were then turned into small private dining rooms.

A lounge area is a must these days! Warm yourself by the fire, while waiting to be seated at a table.

The view from the back of the Bistro.

The tableware buffet.

The dining areas. If you look to the dining area on the left, you'll see that Richard has prepared the young couples night out with great care.

In the Bakery, baked goodies made by Astrid are for sale. As you can tell, they look delicious!

The foyer leads to the bathroom and the kitchen.

A place to dress up the plates.

The staff room.

Time to get back to Richard and Susan, who by now are enjoying their romantic night out. We've come to the dessert. Richard secretly asked Astrid to hide a wedding ring into Susan's cupcake.

Susan nearly choked to death on the thing. But apparently Susan loved the ring Richard had bought for her and of course she said YES!

Now, have you ever seen a Simmie this happy?

And this memorable moment has brought us to the end of my slideshow. Who knows what will happen to the couple in the future...?! Thank you so much for looking at these images! Happy Valentine's day everybody!
